Neither a Tag Heuer nor a Heuer. This is a rather obscure brand that Heuer made for Sears Roebuck back in the 60s under the "Tradition" brand name. So Heuer at its core but disguised as something else!

Thank you @Jemagloh. It's a recent purchase. I am into all things Heuer (but also Tags) and all their "off brands" from a long gone era. One special thing about this watch is that it came in its original box. The original owner kept it an a safe for decades after the strap broke some time in the 70s.

Movement is a Valjoux 7733

@dtf Thanks! These "off brand" Heuer watches are commonly referred to as the "poor man's Carrera" simply because they were sold at lower tier retail stores like Sears at affordable prices, even though many or all of its parts were from Heuer. They were designed to look a bit like the famous Carrera model.

@Jemagloh Is that your Carrera in your avatar? I just picked one up pre-owned. I absolutely love it. I hear from some folks Tags are garbage?? I simply don't get it as the quality and finish are superb in these watches. But I do know their past is/was sketchy after they merged with TAG.

Yes sir, MACH5, I am a mega fan of the 43 mm Carrera Day Dates, and I see that you have the brown version. Very nice! Hope to see more pics of that one.

The black one (avatar) has been on my wrist a majority of the last 11 years. Any dings, dents, or scratches were put there by me through all the days of it on my wrist. While I do try to be careful with my pieces, each little imperfection on this one brings a smile to my face.

I’m glad to see the Carrera Day Dates make a return, just hope we see some variations in color.

What an awesome watch! I love all the complications it comes with. Some folks think it has a rather busy dial but that is precisely what I love about it. Glad to hear you are happy with it. Mine has also a 43mm case. I bought it recently from a guy that only used it occasionally as a dress watch since he first bought it in 2010. So it was in near mint condition. Unfortunately I had to send it to a Tag Heuer service center because the leather strap kept loosening on my wrist. So I may have to replace it if they can't fix it.

Here’s my white one, MACH5 (also 11 years old ::psy::).

I don't think I've seen it with a white dial? Looks great!

My ex one, in 2010. I had bought (460 euros!) the strap of the Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS2, I found the perfect combination!
