I just noticed that the minute markers are backwards on this watch as they are on the Link version that came afterwards. This only actually makes sense when the watch is in regatta mode and you realise that they are actually seconds not minutes.

I hadn’t even noticed they weren’t 1-12! Distracted by the colours.

Valentines gift? I got a Cadbury’s cream egg, although that was more than I bought herself.😗

Although I did not like this dial very much in the original Formula 1, I do like how it looks in the Modular 45, today combined -as it could not be otherwise- with the blue calfskin strap and red stitching of the Red Bull Racing special edition 😎

The dial is already very full and it would be even more busy if we add more text there… but why the record for the fastest pit stop? Those marks above the 7 and 5 simulate the box to position the car on the starting grid, it has nothing to do with a Pit Stop 😕

But if you want a version with that data, I try to include it somewhere. Tell me the text to add 😉

How come a faded bezel on a plastic F1 is just something you replace whereas on a ROLEX it makes it 'special' somehow?

Watch collectors are stupid as...

Yeah you want that fakka to patina nicely. Albert should probably run over his with his AMG and then leave it at the lake for a week. Then it would skyrocket in value
