Small writing? Time and date look just fine to me and even I qualify as an ole geezer now. Needing spectacles to see most everything these days, except the tele. The light time can be adjusted in mode settings

As a newbie to gshock I'm having trouble with reading the messages and various other outputs. Maximum light on time is 3 seconds.
Outdoors is fine but indoors it's pretty tough to read screen when not illuminated.

Time display is no problem though.

Superb! Good call on the Iso too.馃憤 Is it the earlier or the 'L' model? Mine is the earlier thick case-
Mine is 980.023L.
But my watch has ESA536.121 movement.
So it鈥檚 funny.
