You kidding me? Try 5-6 months per year of darkness and cold!! Then you're allowed to complain 😁
That’s summer in Scotland!

Welcome to the forum, we need more 500M Aquaracer dudes around here!

Im on it! Its magnetized though - always something.

I went up and asked a local jeweler if he'd demagnetize it. His business has been there atleast 10 years, but he looked at me like i was an alien.

He had no idea what I was talking about.

I'll call around tomorrow. Or maybe grab one off amazon.

Its always something.

Just get a cheap degausser off eBay or Amazon - only costs $15 or so and most of the time they're the same units the watchmakers use too.

As for your local jeweler - he can probably only change batteries in quartz watches, and change straps - that's about it though

I know its not one of my TH's, but it was a gift from my young daughter's - it came out of a pawn shop, using every penny they had. And truth be told, its a true 2nd favorite (behind my strapped 500M AQUARACER) I've had her for years and years and years - other than swap a battery, never an issue.

You cleared a lot, Seiko, Tudor (iirc) and this one. But then again a 321 and Monaco are great pieces to have added.

I’ve still got the tudor - unfortunately the guy I flogged to in Holland couldn’t stomach the fees so it came back. I’m debating whether just to keep it as is a lot of watch for the money you can get for them these days.

I try to stick to about 2 nice watches and - couple of beaters to knock around in. I only have one wrist and I am unlike others in that I don’t want a collection of unworn watches. I couldn’t justify keeping the apollo 11 after I miraculously got the call for a 321 so it went to fund that (one of the few watches I’ve come out ahead of the game on).

my rotating 2 is the 321 and the Monaco - as you say, nothing too shabby with that, and I love them both. I might reintegrate the tudor and be done for a while (although I’ve said that many times and I have a white chronograph itch to scratch at some point)

the green seiko (seiko hulk anyone - worn 3 times) is still for sale!

In all fairness, he lost half the amount DHL wanted from him by the time I’d converted his money back to eur etc.

he was extremely apologetic and a nice chap so I’ll let him off without the horses head - but I’ll bear your offer in mind for future failed sales! 😁

I wonder if they used nos Orfina parts. The case and bracelet look exactly the same.
