Well, it is Speedy Tuesday after all...
Every post of this one with the bracelet is battling my willpower - this addition was a great idea!

Thanks! The funny thing is I never intended to buy this bracelet. I had dropped by an Omega Boutique to look at straps, but was also shown this bracelet - I just couldn't resist.

Wonderful pair! 👍
Yes! 🥰
It was a hard day at the office 😉… these -also wonderful- pair of 300 SL Roadster arrived last Monday, directly from the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center (Fellbach/Stuttgart), where both cars were restored by the brand itself. The blue one is more expensive because it was completely restored (6000 hours), but both together cost about 3 million Euros

The dealer where I work, in Barcelona, will have them until the end of the year… to sell them, and in any case, to have them exposed. For our customers who come to buy a new Mercedes, finding these jewels at the showroom is an added value 🥰

I’m one of the two people at the dealership authorized to drive them... 😀

Those look amazing. You almost HAVE TO buy them as a pair. $3M eh? Let me see which bank is lacking security near me.

This possibly belongs in the jdm thread, but I took a photo of the two most chilled horses I’ve ever seen, and realised I’d also taken a photo of my night diver

😁
Good luck with the bank! 😗

Anyway, it’s not mandatory buying them as a pair 😁… I would choose the blue one 😎, around €1.8M 😵‍💫

This one was originally sold in Tokyo, in 1960… and it went to NY in 1965, where it was painted in red. Mercedes-Benz Classic has restored it in its original colour and configuration 50 years later in Stuttgart. Only two 300 SL Roadster were made in this colour, and probably only this one exists today. Maybe @Snowy might be interested in taking it back to Japan 😉

So, just €1.3M then 😉

The silver one was found in Paris, and it’s an American version (for this reason the headlamps are different).

Price is lower because body and interior were not restored (they already were in good condition). Just the mechanical part (engine, transmission, suspensions) was restored

Unfortunately I didn't bring my Carrera 300SLR watch with me🙁

I didn't know you were another Carrera 300SLR owner. Nice 👍
