Loving this 'shade of blue' Dubai LE strap 😎, today combined with titanium case, black ceramic lugs and buckle, and a custom made digital dial

I really like this watch. This case design is more appealing to me.
Thank you - it’s absolutely terrific. It’s bloody expensive, but having trimmed my collection down to a couple of nice pieces I don’t regret it one bit.

And it wears a lot smaller than the pro, despite the real diff being just the lack of crown guards. The thin lugs give it a classic appearance which I personally prefer.

Do you own a lot of Omegas? I asked an Omega Boutique how long would I have to wait to get one, the answer: forever. Only certain clients that have the "right" relationship can get an Ed White said this sales person. 🙄

Honestly no, but I have bought 1 watch and 4 straps from that boutique. I used to work round the regent street area and used to pop in and talk watches with the guys there.

I asked to be put on the list in august 20, and enquired how I was doing in feb this year. They couldn’t find me on the list so I forwarded them my email and response saying I was on and they apologised profusely (not that they needed to). So the manager said he’d try to get me one as soon as poss as I was an existing client of sorts and I let him know i was serious and had the readies should they come up trumps.

2 weeks later I had it. I feel quite fortunate given the long waiting lists if I’m honest. I’ve had virtually the full suite of speedies and it’s different gear - but you’d expect that given it costs twice as much I guess.

Wally Schirra for me.
Absolutely great - love the FOIS. Have you thought about a forstner flat link for it. Is a great change up.

I have. But don't want to be one of those Ed White wannabes. Lol

Likely they can spot an idiot with a watch addiction a mile off 😁
