NWA! All the Aquaracer talk of late and more so the special edition 844 watch talk - pushed me over the edge. I’ve been looking at the early 844 divers and found one that fit my needs and budget. I really like this watch. My first “vintage” watch😀

Agree with you.
I can't say that I've ever seen a Monaco on the wrist. And I'm always looking at what people are wearing.

Funnily enough in the last few years I've noticed 3! One 2 weeks ago a the local Tesco Metro, some guy has a blue calibre 12 on his wrist in front of me (made my mind up more I wanted one), one last summer queuing at the butchers, I was admiring my BB58 in the sun, guy walked past with his blue Monaco - dial shining lovely. Lastly a few years back office party at this 'velo cafe' owner was rocking another blue Monaco, I was the wrong side of merry and speaking to my boss (watch nut with his steel white face Daytona) going look a Monaco - think I had U Boat back then so probably came across weird!

Must be me, but I always check out what people are wearing, randomly spotted someone wearing a white Ploprof 'I was like thats cool' this was just as Covid-19 was kicking off and I must have scared him half to death!

The more I wear it the more I like it. It's giving me Nautilus vibes, I think it's that 'not quite' round bezel... of course it is round, but from some angles it doesn't look like it is because the grooved bits are higher than the starry bits.
