Hey Aquagraph - what is the case diameter of that 2000 Exclusive? Is it the same as the Classic 2000 (mine measures 37 mm)? The bezel looks thicker than my Classic 2000 which I never really noticed before. Do you find this makes the dial a bit smaller?

In either event - it's a cool watch! I love TAGs from that era and you own a bunch of them I really like! For example, the "early" AR chronograph and that 1500 GMT...

Hi, yes it's 37 or 38mm I'm sure. The bezel is a bit bulkier on the 2000 Exclusive (like the Aquagraph in fact) so it does look a little different. On the whole I think it wears bigger than a 2000 Classic and the bracelet is chunkier too so that helps also. The 1500 GMT is great because it's 40mm so looks a much more 'modern' size. When you say about the 'early' Aquaracer do you mean the blue one with the silver subdials (CAF1112). I don't really think of that as 'early' but I guess it is in fact!

You know you have too many watches when.... somebody complements a watch you own and you have to check your website because you can't remember which one they mean! 馃槜

LOL - yep! That's the one! It's a beauty, and very close resemblance to the Classic 2000 quartz chronographs. By "early" AR, I think this is the first series (WAF/CAF) that replaced the 2000 series in 2005 (or thereabouts). And yes, you do have a large collection!

Not my wrist but whilst hiding from the rain I watched a Chris Rea dvd and spied him wearing this, am I right in thinking it鈥檚 a TH or a Heuer? Sorry poor quality screen snap.

Aha, thought I'd seen the double ridged strap on here sometime, maybe something similar.
