If you don鈥檛 mind me asking @Hubert, how much was the strap.
I was just wondering how it would look on my Caw211w.... thought the blue with red stitching accent might look nice with the red face.
Red stitching may not be the right shade though ????

Good to know, I want to order a spare strap too.

To my eye, the red stitching is a brighter red with a touch of pink in it, so it might be slightly off. I think a darker blood red stitch may be a better match for the W's red dial. But I'll defer to Hubert, since he can do a direct compare of W & X.
The blue was in stock, but I have not received it to see how it would look with the 80s Red.

Hello, first post here. I found this place through the Omega forums. I'm wearing my old standby. First real watch that I purchased and one that was on my wrist almost every day of my life for its first 20 years in the wild.

I just ordered a spare too. I think it's the cheapest I've paid for an OEM TH strap. Surprising, given the special nature of the Monaco 50s.

But you don't need to wait for your spare strap to come in, you can just put your X next to your W to see how the red stitching matches. Again, I think the red stitch of the X is brighter than the red dial of the W, but it still might look ok.

Even if it doesn't suit the CAW211W it is a really nice strap at a good price so will come in handy one day.
Who knows, could even look good on the Steve McQueen Monaco.

I think the prices that TH are charging for replacement straps are pretty reasonable.
I just bought a replacement black leather strap for my Calibre 11 Siffert @ $195 AUD including HEUER buckle. A bargain I thought, especially when 3 extra links for my new CT2115 Senna link came in a $150 馃槵

Yes, the low price was a very nice surprise. About a year ago, a Monaco strap was twice the price. Which make me wonder, maybe this price only applies the these new Anniversary straps?

Aha, then maybe your comment from a month or so ago on the lack of strap quality for the CAW211W has some merit. This being shown in the replacement prices.
In saying that, I was not disappointed in the strap that came with my W.
The talk of a new bracelet for the Monaco coming next year is very real I have heard.
I fear the replacement price of that may shatter some bank balances, but I for one love my Monaco's on the bracelet so will be taking out a second mortgage if need be.

I prefer bracelets on my watches but the price TH want makes me think twice, although some models just suit a leather strap, it鈥檚 like cars and certain colours, the stars are aligned just so.
