·Wore this today, then sent it off for its first service. Owned it since new, bought it in 1991. Tag said they do not service older watches, so this is going to a trusted watchmaker.
Originally came on black leather strap, but I bought this genuine bracelet back in 2000 (still have the strap.)

·I IRCMI visited the Tag Heuer boutique in Houston and was given this info. I even called a US number for Tag and was told the same thing. Said they don’t keep parts for watches over a certain age (disappointing, as Omega will happily service my 1953 watch.)
They do in fact service vintage watches back at Tag Heuer heritage department in Switzerland, however the costs are inhibitive for the less desirable/lower valued pieces.
For these models find a reputable local watchmaker that has experience in them, and that will be money better spent.
