😲 Do you mean it doesn’t exist a genuine TH Grand Carrera SLS watch? 🤦

Is it not a replica -from an original TH design- but an “originally” designed fake watch? 🤪

If so, it’s a shame these fakers don’t put their own logo to their own design instead of putting a TH logo... It’s a shame because the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is my favourite car from the XXI Century, and it was nice to wear “its” watch face 🤔

If you can confirm this SLS watch doesn’t exist as a TH genuine watch, maybe I will keep this connected face in my collection... but removing the TH logo 😉

And thanks for the info! 👍
You might want to look for the SLR series made by Tag Heuer.

The SLS is toilet paper. The watch, not the car.
@Hubert I'm getting good at the linky - ain't I?

😁

In fact I realize now that main design of this fake TH SLS face is very similar to the true TH Monaco Mikrograph...

So we could consider this fake SLS a -modified- replica of this unique Monaco, but rounded and with another name and colours 🙁

So I will remove that SLS face from my watch faces collection, because it’s not an original design either! :whipped:

Also fake, see the picture Hubert posted... there was only one piece made and it was auctioned for 'Only Watch'.

More pics of your ^ Carrera Calibre 1969. Tell us about when and how you got it.
Here are a few more pictures. This watch has been purchassed in Geneve 2014. I bought it some time ago from a online shop. It was the model I wanted and I was looking for it for a while. Not easy to find. The condition is very good and now it is serviced by Tag Heuer this month. A great watch and I like the style of this model. The rose gold really suits well.

Yes, I know there was only one Monaco Mikrograph made, but I took this picture from a Calibre11 article, so I guess it’s not fake... just a different picture with different light:

Well done; this is the first one I remember being owned by a member of this forum.

So is this the only watch with the CH80/1969 movement? I thought the project never made it passed the Carrera ch80 prototype.

They were on sale for a short time (I tried one on at what was then TAG's 5th Ave boutique) for about $12k if I recall correctly. This is the first one I've seen in private hands though

Yes, thanks! I already have a TAG Heuer SLR face for my Connected 👍

Of course! I drove this black Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG 🥰 around 2.000 km, and it’s my favourite car ever of all I have driven (including Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo, and even Mercedes-AMG GT R)

TAG Heuer Micrograph on the wrist 😉

Just arrived and I am a happy bunny! Got an F1 catalogue with it free as well - result! Apart from the lume pip, this is in incredible condition, the bezel and chrono action feel like new. 😀
