It definitely does show smudge marks easier with the gloss but wipes clean easily. Think it will last better than the PVD coatings though.
I think you made the right choice. I tried the one with the matte finish a few weeks ago and didn't like it.

And did she believe you?

Sorry. It was a joke. I was not actually being serious about that remark.

I'm actually considering that one myself, since the second hand Spectres are way too overpriced. Any regrets?

Still a very nice look. Wish I had enough money just to keep all of them

Only had it 24h but so far no regrets. Comfortable - for a bracelet - i like the look of braclets but tended not to get on with them long term. Considered the leather strap version - but decided to take the plunge on the SS in the end. It is far less bulky than a PO, and hefty but not too heavy on the wrist. More understated than the SMP, PO and Speedy. It was a toss up between the Aqua Tera and the 300, but for me the 300 won out. Less ‘dressy’ but the AT whilst very elegant was not what I was after. The 1948 small seconds will hopefully fill the ‘dress watch’ niche.

Well not quite on my wrist - yet... as it has stopped working. This was my very first TH watch. I guess it must be knocking on for 20 years old. Has been missing for years buried in a box of stuff that kept getting shuffled from house to house with various moves and never unpacked. Going to take it into the AD to get it checked out. I’m guessing a service will be worth more than the watch. But it is still in cosmetically good nick. Didn't have phone with me so this is a stock photo off the web. Few scuffs onnthe gold bezel.... not sure if I’ll ask them to polish it up or not. Any advice with maintaining these old quartz watches (other than do it more often) :whipped:

Looks amazing! My grail watch.... in WG. Can’t decide on the metal or rubber strap though.
