Off the reservation a bit with this one. Wanted a sporty, casual watch and liked the look of the McLaren edition F1 but started toying with the idea of getting a Shinola. I like the concept of making them in the US, Detroit for a lot of it actually, and decided if I'm gonna spend TAG money then I'll stick to automatics. For a quartz I decided to give the Shinola a try. Just got it yesterday but so far really like it. Has a nice solid feel, looks & feels good on the wrist, easy to see. I picked up some NATO straps for it as the (non-configurable at purchase) bright red rubber strap is a bit much most of the time.

The "stock" red rubber strap.

The black & red stripe NATO strap.

Two pictures I made while I was on holiday in Ibiza, I had the Ceramic Aquaracer 500 with me and the 1000 Gold plated which I call Wolfie.

About a 15 or so year old Links Chronometer. . Has been on my wrist every day for the last 8 and a half years. Minus the 2 weeks it was out for a rebuild. My first post on the sight. Looking to upgrade joined to get some info.

Seems to work pretty well- I'm not sure if there are any functions that I'm missing out on, but all alerts are working well!

Good to hear! Voice commands are also pretty handy. I am hoping we get the OS update to Marshmallow in the next couple of months.

I managed to increase the collection again over with the holidays with the addition of a Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 6 RS (WAV511C). The level of quality over the Carrera in both look and feel is very noticeable. I especially like the bracelet which feel very solid while being extremely conformable. The Rotating System also makes it stand out from the crowd.
