After swearing I was done buying watches for the year, I sniped one on eBay that I’ve wanted for years…let’s see if it turns up
The one that got away? 🤔

Heh no, but I am looking out for one of those. Realistically my Porsche could do with the value of that watch spending on it 🤦‍♀️

Decided my other love(money pit) needed something so these came up at a snip.
OZ Alleggrittas.

And now waiting on a new front spoiler/splitter arriving, painting/fitting that when the damage caused when a motor cyclist drove into the passenger door etc changing lanes without looking, just glad really he didn’t come off under check out the underside of the artic behind me.
So no watch money for a bit.

^ If you like it, go for it. Nice piece.
And truly rare, IMHO.

I finally gave in with IWC to celebrate a promotion:

Certainly not everyone’s cup of tea, but combines some interesting features:
  • (semi-)integrated, ingenious bracelet
  • timelessly modern looking & legible dial
  • only 41mm (chronos from that era tended to be larger)
  • 14mm in height “only” (for a Valjoux-based chrono)
  • still 120m of WR (plenty for a swim)

I love these things, the only issue for me is the integrated bracelet or strap since I would probably want to wear it on a NATO. I've seen people make adapters but I don't think they're for sale anywhere :/

Still, someday I might pick up a titanium 3719 just cause I think it's as cool as you do. Congrats!

If I remember correctly the automatic is 42 and the manual is 40

Thanks!
Inspired by vintage mechanical watches from the past, the Intra-Matic combines timeless style with modern upgrades. A distinctive panda-style dial grabs attention immediately, framed by a black tachymeter ring that matches both the textured black subdials at three and nine o'clock and the date window at six o'clock. Hamilton's exclusive H-31 automatic movement is the heartbeat of the timepiece, complete with chronograph function, hacking seconds, and an enhanced mainspring to extend the power reserve to 60 hours. Sporty and classic, it's all housed within a robust 40mm stainless steel case and finished with a black leather strap.

Details & Specs

  • Case Material: Stainless Steel
  • Case Diameter: 40mm
  • Lug Width: 20mm
  • Strap: Leather
  • Crystal: Sapphire
  • Movement: H-31 Automatic
