But for the price of the Baume & Mercier, one could get the new Tudor BB54. Kudos to Tudor for keeping their prices in check.
I like the look of B&M stuff in fairness. Where do they fit in, as a brand, compared to the likes of TH and Tudor?
Depends on one's perception. I'd place them below TAG & Tudor, as they have some quartz models for around $600. They've got some nice looking models and generally offer a pretty good value for what you get. I've considered buying B&M in the past, but have never pulled the trigger. Tudor has them beat though on providing highly desirable products at prices few can match (IMHO).
