Watch coating/face discolouration

Hi. I have a Calibre E3 45mm. I noticed recently that the face has gone weird, I think it's the coating, possibly an oleophobic coating issue? The OLED screen appears to be absolutely fine - viewed without a bright reflection it looks normal. No idea what's caused it, has anyone else experienced similar? Any suggestions for sorting it? I've read that you can buy oleophobic kits but am nervous of doing anything without some guidance. I'm outside warranty though so if I can resolve the issue myself I'd obviously prefer to.

I think the protective plastic film is still there. Try to remove it using your nail

Thanks for the reply. There's no plastic coating on it-I've double checked.
