Omega and Rolex number among a few manufacturers who offer a 5 year warranty on their watches and now JLC has not just joined, but surpassed, that club by offering an 8 year warranty on all their watches and clocks.

It's about time that TAG Heuer reconsidered and upped their a rather paltry 2 year warranty.

Hopefully TAG Heuer and the other LVMH brands will follow as well!

2 years is pitiful on a £5k watch. Partly the reason I’m a little hesitant to invest further in the brand. At that price point you expect better aftercare.

I agree. The whole luxury watch industry could do with understanding this concept.

During my earlier time of purchasing watch, i never thought about the length of warranty itself.

But now, after i serviced some of my watches, some even i need to paid for it, i realized how crucial of a factor it is to be consider.

Apparently Goldsmiths are bow offering (“free”) extended 8 year warrantees on new Omegas too. Incan’t see it mentioned on their site yet, but the wording does come up in google search results.
