WAH1110 Confusion...

This is something that has bugged me for some time, and I wondered if anyone can shed any light on it. I own a Formula One quartz watch that looks like this



On the backplate it clearly states - WAH1110-0

But if you Google that code you get two different watches, mine and this one.



I can find this being sold in several places (including Joma shop) as a WAH1110.

Clearly the -0 doesn't account for this difference in dial so what the hell is going on?

Annoyingly, every time I find this watch being sold as WAH1110 there is never a clear shot of the back plate.

Is it just that one small error somewhere has resulted in the mistake being perpetuated, it seems unlikely.

Even more confusing here is another Chrono 24 listing clearly showing the backplate with WAH1110 on it!

Yes, you're right: this is one of the only examples I can think of where TAG Heuer has re-used a reference number.

Both watches are WAH1110 🙁
