Love the way the dial has aged on this Heuer Camaro- photo by @meticulist #vintageheuer #tagheuer #heuercamaro #calibre11
First time I've seen this photo - what's the model on the right?
(the second and minute hands, the 12-o-clock triangle, position of 'quartz' and '600 feet' don't seem to match the regular 1000 series pattern).
I believe it's an early edition of the 1000 series, when Heuer were still working out the design. It's 666 feet (equivalent to 200 metres metric.) and uses the 'economy' style case with plexi instead of mineral. Actually, I wasn't sure it was legit until I saw the same photo some years ago-you still don't see many of them. I've taken a very quick photo-sorry about the quality!

Very interesting - the 12 index has a very 'mid-70s / Rolex' vibe so I get what you mean. Perhaps it's one of the prototypes or example models that were used to sell the watch to the various diving brands that sold it under their own name? eg (iirc) Spirograph?
A similar design was used by Le Gran at the time and probably others, I'm not sure there was an affiliation though other than using the same case/dial manufacturers-
