But look. Everyone moaning, right... but you have the Ice King, you have a 43mm Aquaracer, you got a Red Bull F1, you got some Tudor thing, and a Breitling. If you just had one watch you could easily have afforded a £10,000 Monaco.

I just think it's funny how we start off thinking we will buy one 'expensive' watch and then a few years down the line we are pissed because we can't afford to buy 2 or 3 per year.

That does sound like my 3 piece watch collection indeed. Well we shall not forget about the douchebag but that one was used so it doesnt count in this discussion I guess.

Fair point. From now on I shall try to be positive and only celebrate price increases 👍

With each price increase, you become part of a more and more exclusive group of people 😀

There’s an awful lot in that statement. People buy LE’s precisely for that reason, but forget that non LE pieces also fall into that same list when a significant price tag is added.

Personally, I just buy what I like but don’t care if there are millions of others who have also bought the same watch for the same reason.

If I had significantly more cash available to me, then maybe I would feel different? I don’t think I would, but I will likely never know. 😀

EDIT: Or have I never realised that I subliminally bought my first (and the others since) luxury watch because less people will have them than say a basic G-Shock, Seiko, Citizen, etc.

All great brands which I own 2 out of the 3, so not rubbishing them in the slightest.

I blame the media. Look at this nonsense. SIX sports every man needs. On top of the Speedie you also need to own presumably...
As if that Visa Card Blue F1 Red Bull Junior Whatever the Hell the Team is Called watch could be considered a 'MUST OWN'.
