Hello everyone, My grandfather passed a few years ago and my grandmother recently gave me one of his old Heuer watches. Photos are attached. I was hoping someone on this forum can identify the model and year of manufacture. I have no intention of selling the watch but I would like to know an approximate value as well. Thanks
That's a rather lovely Dato Compax Triple Calendar with a Valjoux 72C movement. Early 50's? 52/53 ish. See quite a few with other branding (eg Leonidas) but Heuer branding is not common. Value? Hard to say but that's 18K so I think retail value would be pushing towards £5k in really good condition.
