·The title is misleading. He is transitioning to a new (less intense) role, but not "retiring" per se.
And apparently it is not a new interview. I did scan the recent thread titles before posting but obviously not far enough back to see this thread.
Now that I think about it, Quill and Pad have a habit of trawling old stories and resurfacing them as new content!
