Coming this Friday, we have a guest post from Jim Dollares where he will be celebrating 5 years of the TAG Heuer / Red Bull partnership.
I don't think you want me to do that. Cos if I do then you'll be like 'Waaaaaaaaaaaaah! Why isn't the CBK221B number one???'
Sorry, I meant 'Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, how come the CBK221B isn't even in the top 5?' Or the Monaco Classique. Because it's red.
You have too much integrity as a writer. Learn from newspaper, you should only write what people want to hear
When it comes to silver dials, you'd be hard pushed to find one as well executed as on the CBK221B. Depends what your criteria is, though, I guess. Is it just the dial or the watch as a whole? (Spoiler: CBK221B comes top of both lists by the way). As for Le Mans, are you talking about the 1971 Steve McQueen film? There's certainly not much dialogue but it's still very watchable.
The problem is I don't much like silver dials full stop... but even if I did, I'm sure I could find at least 5 I like more than that bloody watch!
Never say never. I have found my taste in watches has changed a lot over the years, and my horizons have gradually broadened. I never used to get the Speedmaster for example. Or any Rolex. One thing that has endured through my watch collection career (if you can call it that), though, is my love for the Carrera case.
I should say I do own two silver dials.... WN1153 and the CH1110. The WN1153 is good because it's a two tone watch, and the other one is 'okay' sometimes. I just prefer a bit of contrast with the case usually
Charlie will be glad to read this, now you just ellaborate and turn this information into a 3000 word article and all will be happy times
I just looked at BC's IMDB page and I'm struggling to understand why he's so familiar to me. Funnily enough he was in Frenzy (Hitchcock) which I am planning to watch but haven't yet.
