Ah yes, the limited edition Kimi F1 (TEN THOUSAND PIECES!!!!!).

I wasn't aware of the Fernando situation.... in fact I'm still not quite sure what happened.
I can't find much about it other than people selling second generation F1s claiming they were 'designed' by Fernando Alonso - yeah right, I'm sure Fred was designing watches for TH in 1997 before he got in to F1.
David doesn't mention anything in his Ultimate Guide either..

Come on Kappa spill the beans!

There's no FA branded F1 that I can see, he had a Calibre S Aquaracer though.

Kimi’s TAG Heuer Formula 1 is the Grande Date version at 45mm. An all black design chronograph with “Kimi Raikkonen” on the dial and red highlights. I agree it’s not really an LE ::bleh:: 10000! Wow ::shy::

I have the white/silver dial version, to offer contrast of the chronograph like a speedometer gauge. ;) Though I still call mine “Kimi” :p

I don’t know why it’s called TAG Heuer Formula 1 “Alonso” I also asked myself the same question before, but a simple google search will reveal this version as the “TH F1 Alonso” :whistling: And I call mine “Nando” :p

Those chrono counters with the 0 at 8 are weird, but cool. I need to get me one!

It's weird how 500m aquaracers are still turning up at the outlets. I haven't seen the black one before

You mean the PVD one? I tried one of those on 3 years ago in Cheshire Oaks. Really nice but the clasp dug into my wrist something chronic and I passed. Lovely watch though.

The Carrera Calibre 5 is actually a Calibre 6.

Was thinking the same thing, are there AD's still with these offered for sale or where do they come from at this point?

About the black, it looks cool but the helim escape valve crown and clasp bot being black look off and quite cheap imho

How hard can it be to do it in ceramic or composite material?? Heck even my 2000 Euro Breitling Skyracer has a composite buckle that will remain black to the eternity of time

Hey Rob you are getting close to 6000 posts on this lovely forum! I know a great way to celebrate, about time you get yourself a solid gold 6000 series once you hit the 6000 post

I actually like those 500M Aquaracers. There’s something very manly and macho on that design :DPlus half a kilometer deep diver! But the best of me told me to settle for chronographs. And went with the Aquaracer 500M Countdown Chronograph instead

Good question, where did they find a F1 Kirium? And a few months ago they had a ladies 2000 series - where the hell was that all this time?

Indeed, even in black PVD it would look better (not so much once it rubbed off), silver just looks dreadful.

Nice! I'd like a proper gold watch at some point. I'm only a few hundred posts behind David now, and then it's just Hubert above me.
