Tagheuer Indy500 Bracelet/Strap..

Dear All,

I own a TAGHEUER INDY 500 watch which I purchased in 2007.Apparently,the bracelet (strap) has been broken and I wanted a new one to replace. The local service centers in India are quoting a price of around 16k INR (250USD) which I feel Is high. Would there be an economical option or alternative, like going for a rubber strap or get it from any other cheaper place?

Suggestions welcome.

Am I correct the BA0850 bracelet (number on the clasp) is installed on your watch?
The price of around USD 250 is correct, you might be able to find a cheaper alternative on eBay by buying a used bracelet.
Or replace the part that has broken, that would be the best economical option to keep it original.
If you want to install a rubber band, any 18mm will fit.
