TAG Heuer Long Term Satisfaction?

Without being disrespectful, I'm curious how happy members are with their TAG Heuers? I've only had my first (CAW2110) a couple of days and so far I'm very pleased. TH is part of a much larger group LVMH. Does that affect the brand in terms of support or any other way? Any stories of happiness or woe would be appreciated.

Overall, very happy. I've been wearing a quartz aquaracer for somewhere near a decade and it's been perfect in that time. My automatic tags are lovely but less practical.

I only have a couple of complaints, in their non-in-house movement watches (calibre 5, calibre 7, calibre 16, etc) tag use the lowest quality movement available, despite the wholesale price difference between the movement grades being minimal (particulary when compared to the price of the watches), secondly tag warranty service takes ages, something like 6-8weeks last time I sent a watch in for regulation.

Very happy. Could not imagine another smartwatch (except my Garmin sportswatch).

Had it for a year now and used it daily for the first 6 months. Lately I purchased a TH automatic watch so I only use the Connected in rotation with it and the Garmin.

I also previously had the 2016 Connected 46mm. Sold it, but regretted soon after and then got the 45.

Never sell watches unless certain there won't be regret. I'm to the point where I need to start selling some of mine. We'll see how that goes.

Many companies are slow with servicing. Same time frame for Rolex and Omega. I didn't realize they use the lowest quality calibres available. That is disappointing. Currently tracking how my new Monaco performs as far as time keeping, It has the Serita based movement (caliber 12).

Exactly! It is kind of the best "smartwatch" still... But even though I finally upgraded to a fenix Chronos, the Connected 45 beats it in every aspect for its looks and materals. So I need both... 😉

Was inexperience back then. Before i found out changing strap could change the whole feeling. Now i don't think i'll be selling watch if not making at least break even.

Oh well, lesson learned.

Personally I have only good experiences of TAG. But I am kinda biased.

Yes, there are plenty of ways to be biased about watches. After 24 hours of tracking accuracy my first TH, the CAW2110, is tracking about 4 seconds slow. Pretty good imho. Hard to bias timing however. For the weekend it's off my wrist since the leather strap doesn't work as well as the Everest on my Sea Dweller for the beach.
