    Hey all,

I first saw one of these on a buddies Breitling Navitimer - a leather strap (without buckle notches) and clasp that is adjusted simply by pulling on the strap. It was by far the most comfortable for me to wear.

I have seen something similar on a few TAG watches...is there a name for this type of setup? Is it the same as what is on the model shown below?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Straps from TH are available for deployant/folding clasps or buckles, the latter will have keepers on the short end.

Deployant clasps differs brand by brand in set up, TH is pinching mechanism, Omega has holes in the long end to secure the clasp. Zenith has a butterfly so the strap is one and the same you can use for a pin buckle and the clasp.

I see. I'm guessing that in the pics above, both utilize a pinching mechanism?

Breitling doesn't seem to be pinching but being "friction" held (not really sure what's the right English word).
