TAG Heuer Connected E5 Releasing date?

As posted here before I'm considering purchasing a 2nd or even 3rd connected. However, I just had a jewelry store tell me that the new E5 is going to be releasing February 2024 and that there was a press release (I cannot find it). However, I've also had a boutique tell me that for sure it's not releasing February 2024 as it's still in development, so early 2025 the earliest. It would be a shame to but 1 or 2 more connected watches now and have the E5 release in February 2024. Has anyone heard any rumors regarding the potential release date of the E5? The E3 was released in 2020 and the E4 in 2022, so that would indicate a 2 year cycle, but the E1 released in 2016 and the E2 only 1 year later in 2017, and then between the E2 and the E3 it was actually 3 years (2017-2020). And lately smartwatch brands that released a new smartwatch every single year have now gone 2 or 3 years without a new smartwatch, so that's why I'm curious as far as the E5's potential released date.

I am also waiting for the next iteration. Rumors have been very sparse. That said, there are whispers that the next gen would be arriving Q1 2024, but don't take it for granted. As it wouldn't be the first time a release gets delayed.

Looking like 2025, they are going to focus on watch faces and software improvements this year. May see a few different E4 styles released this year.

Am i correct in saying that when the E5 is released, Tag Heure will discount the E4 to sell off the stock.

Won't be in the first half of 2024.
Best case in the end of 2024 if we are lucky.

Hi all,

According TH shop employees there won't be any E5 this year. TH is focusing on E4 maybe good thing about it that we might get OS4 for it

I doubt they will invest time and money in WearOS 4 if they are working on their own OS... (not confirmed, just rumors...).

If these rumors are true would we fine as well.
Even if I can't imagine that for the few watches they release, development of an own OS will make sense...

Definitely not in 2024.
2025 for the E5 and possibly with a new OS.

I was told in TH shop yesterday (8th May 24), that a new Connected model will be coming out next year in 2025 to commemorate the 10 year anniversary. I couldn't wait, so bought new E4 anyway 😀

Have fun with E4.. hopefully we will get a firmware update soon..

So it’s an E4 with a new strap?
Yes...and an online e exclusive as well... they did the same thing with the F1 blue quartz chrono

Same here but price has dropped massively. Could an E5 be coming or are they getting ot of the smartwatch game ?
