Reckon it comes down to whether you like the dial- if we're talking about the same one, it has a "meteor" style dial

The watch itself is pretty bulletproof. This is my favourite 1500

Those luminous dials are rather cool, I got my nephew the Formula 1 version of that with a wholly glowing dial, the really odd thing is even in spite of its age it still glows brightly today, is it some non-tritium lume?
