Strap recommendations

About to get myself a carrera 1153N

I was looking at straps and if anyone had recommendations for strap makers that do rally leather and alcantara straps. Budget isn’t really a problem if the quality matches.

For leather rally straps, my two favorites are Atelier Romane and GLC straps.

I bought my Monaco "Dark Lord" a few weeks ago, but wanted something a little different for the strap. @Anthony. recommended looking at Atelier Romane. I did, and ended up ordering a rally strap with red stitching. What do you think? The wife thinks it looks better than the factory strap.

The only thing I'm not sure about yet is the adjustable end of the strap is a little thinner than the factory strap, so the clasp doesn't clamp down quite as hard. It hasn't slipped yet, but I'll have to wear it a while longer before I'm satisfied that it won't slip.

Well, I wore the watch on the new strap all day yesterday, and the clasp never slipped on the strap. So, the strap is good-to-go! 😁
