Curious what people use here for changing straps. I've used a Bergeon 6767 for a long time, which has done the job OK

I've recently tried two different options- the Bergeon 6111 and the Spring Bar Tool from BaughbLabs- https://baughblabs.com/watchmaker-spring-bar-tool/

I quite like the angled fork on the 6111- but it's the Baughb one that I now mainly use. These are custom hand-made in the US from aluminium and silicone, meaning they're far lighter than the normal tools..and the silicone grips wprk well for me. Best of all, they take the standard Bergeon 6767 end-pieces, so you still use those end pieces

Worth checking out of you haven't seen them before. Robert Issacs, the designer and maker, is a true watch guy.

Anyone else have a favourite?

I rarely changed my own strap but i own and use Blushark. Which i think 100% identical to your Bergeon.

I have a Bergeon 6767, like you, and also some Horofix springbar pliers (https://www.esslinger.com/horofix-watch-bracelet-springbar-pliers-band-tool/) for use with bracelets.

I’ve used snap on tool that is designed for adjusting car windscreen washer jets!, cost me approx £3, not ideal as these are, but for the odd use it’s fine( it was at least until I saw these) I may ask what my AD uses and has he something going spare?

Bergeon tool and drivers. Got an Omega tool with the nato recently - surprisingly great, good weight and solid connection with pins.

Other best recommended ‘tool’ is a hairdryer (best thing I’ve come across that gets loctite seals broken off bracket screws without causing any damage).

The fork is fantastic...can't believe it took me so long to try it out. It's as easy as you'd hope it would be

I’ve had a 6111 waiting for me in the UK and just picked it up and put it to good use already. Certainly for straps appears to be the better option. Bracelets obviously need the 6767 still.

Is the Bergeon 6767 or 6111 the best tool on the market for removing a leather strap from a Monaco? Unlimited budget.

I've never actually removed a strap yet, but would like to know which is less likely to cause any damage.
