Spare Batteries for E1, E2 Modular 41mm/45mm and E3

I'd kill for a DIY internal upgrade on the Modular 45 - even if it was just RAM (that part isn't modular, unfortunately!). That extra 512MB RAM in the 41 just makes it feel a lot smoother/snappier in general use - likely due to the incremental bloat of WearOS upgrades. It's a real shame that these premium smartwatches (even the E3/E4) aren't really premium under the hood.

Yeap. My 41's speed has nothing to envy a Snapdragon 3100 or even 4100, both of which I own.
On that note, I wonder whether the 46, which as far as I know has the same Intel processor as the 45, is faster -- since the 46 has 1GB of RAM (same as the 41). The 3 of them have the same processor, but the 45 has half the RAM.

The atom processor in the 45, 41 and 46 was basically a low end laptop processor , so more than what was needed to run a watch, I believe it’s performance was software controlled to run slower to save battery, so it’s capable of much better. I have all 3 watches, the 45 is probably the most clunky thinking about it. I guess as you say due to the ram

I wondered more than once why TH did that to the 45. At first, I assumed it was a trade-off for making it a little smaller than the 46. But then came the smallest 41 with better specs than both (same processor, RAM as the 46, but double the storage - 8GB - of the 46 and 45)! Since then I just assumed that available technology made a leap in one year (2017 to 2018) so that they could pull that off with the 41. And I was able to sleep 😜 (But of course I might have missed something).

I bought the Watch Plan from my AD, which covers anything for 2 years, including band replacements annually, polishing, and accidental damage. And covers the battery replacement for 5 years.

Then on top of that, I have my watch insured for full purchase price with no deductible or depreciation.

Has anyone seen available battery for the e3?
1icp5/25/26 doesn’t seem to be available anywhere. Does the battery have to be an exact match? For example any idea if 1icp5/26/26 would work?

After much searching I’ve come to the following conclusions :-

1. spare batteries for the gen 1 46mm do not exist anywhere.

2. spare batteries for the gen 2 41mm also do not exist anywhere. - it does - just got mine now from ali-express
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/400...o.order_list.order_list_main.5.1f5218025g4bBq

3. spare batteries for the gen 2 45mm are plentiful on eBay and AliExpress. Code is GB-S10-432830-020H

4. spare batteries for the gen 3 no longer available. Used to be on AliExpress code 1ICP5/25/26

if anyone can prove me wrong and know a source I will be very glad to know,
Tag seem to want special non standard batteries just for them which makes longevity futile.

<<< Have anyone tried ordering those available on Aliexpress
e.g. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004888737078.html
and see if it can possibly fits and function on other models, e.g. on older E1??

Just found my old dead E1, and want to see what can be done to replace the battery, even if not exact match.
