SOLD Heuer Autavia 1163V "Viceroy" Calibre 12 circa 1972/1973

I have a new watch incoming so making way by putting my Heuer Autavia 1163 V (Viceroy) Cal 12 up for sale.

This watch was purchased several months ago from OF user bernarddevos and had a service prior to me receiving it. I would describe timekeeping as excellent (cannot tell you exactly as the watch doesn't have running seconds but certainly keeps time to the correct minute over several days). Chronograph functions all work. Bezel action is nice and smooth.

The watch is in original condition with all original parts and I believe the included corfam strap to be original to the watch also.

The box is a reproduction and not original but is correct for the watch and will be included with the sale.

Condition-wise, please study the photos. There are some minor abrasions but no deep dents or scratches. The bezel has a scuff at 6pm. There is some minor paint wear at the edge of the bezel insert but overall this is one of the better vintage Autavia bezels. I believe the watch to be unpolished with original brushing on the top of the case and nice sharp polished edges. The dial is immaculate. Any artefacts seen in the photos will be small scratches to the plexi crystal or dust on the surface.

Serial number is 270*** which is correct for a Viceroy and dates it to late 1972 or more likely 1973.

Indeed, you might rediscover the telemeter at some point. The glass box H02 already has a few variants and as it sounds will have a few more soon. The Calibre 18 Carrera is quite unique in the line-up.
