Just from testing so far it seems good, hopefully it'll be at least a couple of years before we need to do it again.

Dear site admins, would it be possible to fix for us a possibility to disable email notifications for pm's? My email inbox gets about 5-30 emails with pm notifications per day which is getting a bit exhausting.

Hi Jim, are people really DM-ing you instead of replying to a post in a thread, or are the DM's other questions?

Wazzup Yong! In the dm's is where most of the action takes place 馃榿 you can speak more freely. We talk about a lot of different things, also personal, that we might not necessarily want to share with the public. I see now that I have over 700 messages in April alone, so that is an average of 30 isch per day 馃檮

Than I understand why the mail notifications are a bit much, I would just designate the sender as spam in my mailbox to solve it instantly.

I don't get anywhere near that number of PMs, and I wouldn't want to lose the notifications. You should be able to turn them off, though, like I have done with a lot of the thread post notifications.

I really didnt mean it that way, just thought it would be interesting to do a rough count when Yong asked about it and was shocked about the high number so thought it would be fun to share.

I guess I'll go back to dm's now to avoid making a fool of myself again 馃槤
