After some great advice on another thread here we’ve been together now for a month. Time to try beads of rice - I think it looks absolutely stunning!

The silver dial really makes that bracelet pop! Was this based on recommendation from the mighty Dominator @thingziliketoo ?

It was in response to a thread I started titled “What’s the difference between Heuer Carrera CBK22x ‘glassbox’ and Tag Heuer Carrera CV211x” (don’t know how to link a thread). I wasn’t sure of the differences between these watches and was originally looking to buy a CV211 until advice from you and others set me on the path to righteousness!

Fact #1: Heuer wasn’t the only one to make great silver dials.

Fact #2: Sometimes it’s how they patina that makes them look interesting:

Very cool photo! Why did you disassemble it?
To take a detailed photo like this. As you rarely see “naked” dial. I do this with all my watches. But ofcourse I would not advise to do it, unless you are trained for it and have the right tools and “Fingerspitzengefühl”

Every time I see such a nice photo of the “Ice King” it has me glance at C24 and realize that some can be had at rather attractive prices…

And then “reason” takes over telling me that silver hands on silver dial are just something that makes it more and more challenging for me to use the watch as an object telling the time… Myopia and getting older sucks! 😎

I wasn’t aware that there was a compatible BoR bracelet for the 39mm glassbox Carreras… Which one is that, please?

Don't be silly, you don't devote your soul to the Ice King to be able to tell the time, you do it cause it brings you happiness throughout your entire life

Interesting - I’ve ordered an US for Speedy (20mm) for my Enicar Sherpa Super-Dive. Looks like these are really compatible with a ton of non-Speedy models thanks to the hollow endlinks.

You should let US know so that they can add it to their compatibility table 👍

This looks nice (Seiko SPB333) 😀
Very cool! Does it have a nick name? Kinda looks like the Ice King's fat son

It’s a re-edition of a transitional model between the Willard and the Turtle. So, the “Ice Wirtle”? The “Glacier Tullard”? You can probably throw a couple at the wall and see what sticks 😉
