Resurrected my old 1000

i pulled out my 1000 series night diver, after not wearing it for 10 years and put on a NATO from ToxicNATO and it looks great and modern for a 20+ year old watch.

One question for the experts, the glass is a little 'foggy', anyone know if it's that way because it's scratched or I've just become used to the clarity of a sapphire crystal?

That looks great! Foggy crystal can be a couple of things. Could be that it's actually scratching to the crystal itself- but that doesn't look to be the case.

I've also had a watch that did that and it was because the seals were damaged- certainly worth getting checked.

Seals should definitely be checked on your watch, but I suspect the fogginess under the mineral crystal is coming from the oils of the movement that have vaporized, if you look close to it, it looks blueish. Can easily be cleaned from the inside.
