Removing Links from Calculator Watch Bracelet

I looked through the guides and did some searching here and on youtube (everything I found there was non-vintage) my apologies if this is a "duh" question.

I recently acquired a Calculator 110.663 on bracelet. Even when I adjust the links as far as possible into the clasp I will need to remove a couple of links from the bracelet to fit my wrist.

I'm used to either bracelets with screws or with arrows indicating the direction to punch out a pin. Is this an internal middle pin bracelet that needs to be sized with a different technique? I don't want to start banging on pins and break something.

Ideally, I'd like to learn how to do this properly and get the tools needed vs. taking it to a watch maker.

I've resized the NSA/Novavit bracelet on my Monaco. I believe it's the same make as your Calculator bracelet. It's just a matter of banging on the pins, as you say (although I push firmly, rather than bang).

Thanks, yeah it seems like they are just really really in there. I've used a bergeon pin screw tool and it's just bending the pin. I think it's time to visit a watchmaker 😀

Sometimes jiggling the bracelet in hot water frees it up, and cleans away any gunk build-up.
