22.1 gallon tank! Didn’t know that was a thing, quite a list of options there, how many were “everyone has this Sir”.😉

Porsche dealers always order very well equipped cars for their showrooms, @thingziliketoo's is no exception. It's very nicely equipped indeed!

I've toyed with the idea of getting a new 992.2 and spent time on Porsche's website building my own. Even with the goal of keeping cost to a minimum, I have a hard time creating a build that's below an additional $20k over the base price. @thingziliketoo's spec is probably closer to an added $30k worth of options.

You are so good with the details! Spot on conclusion 👍 I like the way they built it, all the add ons I would have picked, and that is what made it so easy to say - I'll take it!

Lack of possible options made my Honda 1200kg, so 240hp is almost enough, I know guys who have shed the A/C and other items to lose weight, then add a supercharger, and so 350 hp plus, but my Honda was only £30k list 15 years ago, I did spec a 911 up and decided I couldn’t justify the money for it, it wouldn’t get driven the way I drive the S2k, the boss certainly wouldn’t let me track day one.
Looking at a Morgan as garage mate to the S2k, but justifying 3 cars( boss has her own) to total 10k miles per annum is hard, and, being Scottish each pound is a personal friend and hard to part with.😂

Enjoy the Porsche by the way.

Nice, always prefer the touring fuel tank. Sport exhaust and front axle lift are great options too.

And the crests in the headrests are a must-have in my opinion 😀

I looked into a few things for my S2000, particularly Spoon cams and stronger clutches and the like - but concluded that anything I did would detract from the street-driveability of the car. Honda really maxed that thing out!

The S2000 was a pure sports car. Can't argue with a lightweight, nimble, sharp handling open top car from a fun to drive perspective.

As much as I love the 911, they've become too large, too much of a GT and too expensive for me to truly justify pulling the trigger on a new one. But that doesn't mean I won't one day.

Yeah the 997 is the right one for me. I think the 991 is kinda the size limit.

There have been rumblings from Porsche’s designers that they also feel like the 911’s getting too big; fingers crossed the next one gets a little sportier

I took an AM Vantage home one day from work, I was offered it on a great deal, it wouldn’t fit in the garage🙁 although I discovered fuel consumption should be measured in ‘Lampposts per gallon’ not mpg. True Grand Tourer.

Looks like it’s taking on a steely blueish hue. 🥰
Btw, Griffith Park?

It has a pretty dynamic color depending on the light, I dig it. This is at the Rock Store in Malibu 👍

Vanadium Grey Metallic? Looks gorgeous! 😍

Great shot too, it could be a Porsche postcard! 😉

That’s the color 👍 @Mspeedster - here’s another with the sun hitting it differently with more of the blue coming through. Such a killer automobile and I’m really enjoying the experience of driving it. I highly recommend it!

The publication is not in English... 🙄

You have mounted on that porch an engine from a Mclaren f1, an engine already used by the Mclaren...

Only 11 engines have survived and that is why only 11 units will be made, limited to 500 hp

Thanks, it's a very cool car. FYI, there was a discussion on the Lanzante earlier in this Porsche Owners thread, starting with this post.

Each one comes with a custom TAG Turbo Monaco watch!
