Oh, right, the watch is back from the watch maker and runs now after battery change. Yay! It passed pressure test of 100 meters also \o/.

I bought a 22 mm black NATO strap with black hardware finish that is on its way: http://www.crownandbuckle.com/black-premium-nato-22mm.html

For the record, if I remember correctly, the lug size is actually 21 mm and not 22 mm.

That's going to look pretty damn nice once freshly strapped up!

Big Adam: Thanks! I hope so 馃榾. Just after I bought that one I discovered "perlon NATO":s that also looks awesome, but that will have to wait. Probably a double braided one.

Being the watch noob that I am, I'm looking forward to just using the tool I also bought and change the strap myself.

They sold "fat spring bars" also, but not in 21 mm. It seems like a good idea, guess they are indeed tougher...

Fat spring bars are usually for larger or dive watches; they do not fit standard straps, and it will make it difficult on your watch to slide in a NATO or Perlon.

elbeik: Oh, thanks. I will probably buy a pair sooner or later anyway just to try them and see for myself, since they are dirt cheap.

I know this post is more than a bit old but yes I work on the 1000, 1500, 2000, etc. I can change the battery and the rubber gaskets without issue (in stock items too). Just send me an email or check out my website for info.

Thanks,

Justin
