This watch was passed down to me and after searching the ref num (964-013) I came up blank. I’m not a watch expert so I was wondering if someone knew what it was or if it is fake.

Oooof. Love the corrosion of the pig iron underneath the silver paint.

It's fake by the way. Looks like it cost £1.99 in 1991.

Thanks man, although it’s a shame it’s fake I’m glad I know what my grandfather’s watch actually is.

This is what a 964.013 looks like... your watch looks more like an Alter Ego, which was a women's only watch. At least the bracelet does...

Yes. Unless you want to wear a 27mm or 32mm feminine looking watch.

Well? Do you? Punk?

The Alter Ego is exactly the sort of watch a company who claims to be 'avant garde' would be making.

It looks like the bastard child of a Swatch and a Skagen.

Tbh I was just curious about it because it belonged to my grandparents, I never had much intention to wear it as it would need links taken out and a new battery(if it even works). And yes I’m into a watch with a larger

Sorry Fraser, that was directed at my dear friend Ben... no reason why you couldn't wear this as this isn't an Alter Ego and I'm guessing it's larger.

I second that. Wear what you’re happy with. 😀

All good. Yeah I couldn’t find it under alter ego either although they are similar. The watch next to it in the photo is 37mm and that’s the smallest I’d probably go on a watch. image.jpg

It's certainly a new style of fake TAG, I've never seen one like that before!

Believe it or not, I've had the same fake passed down to me. But mine is a Rolex! ::psy::

My dad got it from a friend. He asked me to check it out and I immediately told him it was a cheap fake. This must've been around 20 years ago. I don't even know why I still have it! LOL 🤦

That’s unbelievable! Thanks to everyone on this post for helping figure out what it is. Although it isn’t real I’m still going to keep it in a box to remember my grandfather. Hope everyone has a good day.
