Hi guys, I'm sure 'help identifying' are most newbies first posts on here and this is going to be the same I'm afraid. I've just purchased this Heuer and I've exhausted every possibility of trying to identify this watch so you guys are my next option. Initially I thought it was a 1945 ref: 2443, but I've just noticed the 2443 has a tachymeter around the outer dial and also has the numbers 5 and 7, which mine does not... Thanks Andi
Not sure on this one. Here is a page from the 1945 Catalogue from Jeff Stein's site showing ref. 347N: I'm not sure about the dial on yours- looks like (at a minimum) the lume has been redone? The hands also look to be different to this catatloue, but that is not necessarily a problem, as Heuer used this style of hands in the 1950s. The numerals on your watch don't look right to me...but you'd need to look at these under a loop. Here is another 347N http://chronoaddict.com/watches/show/id/24
Thanks for the reply. The chrono buttons look more similar to the 347M and the cut away 2/4 8/10 where the sub dials are, but still wondering about the 3rd sub dial. Very similar to this but still not the same http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Heu...cf299c9&pid=100011&rk=1&rkt=4&sd=152479910933Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
