I have been waiting for this to be published; thanks for the link.
Next up is the Autavia, though I was told not to expect more re-issues after that.
Certainly hope not!

More recent interviews with JCB. Really good stuff.

You are wearing the new Carrera Connected in rose gold. The watch has been an enormous success but can you tell us where it is already available and where it will be launched next?

So far we have only delivered the watch to four countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Germany. We have delivered about 20,000 units, plus a few in France, Switzerland and Australia. Now we will start delivering worldwide from June so it will now be well and truly present on the market.

The numbers listed on the ^ article for the Connected, don't match the previous figures, unless the referenced 80,000 units is a combined number for all TH watches.

From http://timeandtidewatches.com/friday-wind-down-5th-february-2016/
The outlook at LVMH is more positive. The group in general had a solid year, with their Jewellery and Watch divisions surprising market analysts by recording a 19 per cent growth in revenue. Key performers were the TAG Heuer Connected, which according to CEO Jean-Claude Biver has sold a staggering 80,000 units, and Bulgari’s new women’s collections as well as increased production capacity at Hublot. Biver has projected an ambitious growth pattern for the Connected that will see its yearly target in 2017 scale up to 200,000, which would make it 30% of TAG Heuer’s total sales.

New Reuters article on Tag Heuer dated June 11, 2016. It seems the 80,000 unit quote is actually referring to projected 2016 units demanded. Maybe that means authorized dealers have already bought 80,000?

While Biver previously expected to sell 40,000 to 50,000 of the connected watches, he said he now hopes to deliver 60,000 and is facing demand for 80,000 watches.

Some recent short video interviews with JCB. Both are excellent.

6-minute video dated April 5, 2016.

At 3:20 in the video, he says that Tag Heuer sold 100,000 Connected watches.
At 4:30, it appears he's wearing a Hublot Big Bang. 🙁
Does anyone know what those showcase displays are at 5:30? Seems like they're magic

4-minute video dated April 11, 2016. JCB describes the motivation for Hublot's skeleton and all-black watches. Certainly the philosophies appear to have been applied to the new Heuer 01 and 02 models.

Great video of Born, they had those showcases also at their Hublot stand at Baselworld this year, as I experienced myself.
I thought I came too close to the watch and it went down for security, haha, but now I know it was "magic" (at 5:39), haha!
