Hi, Great Review I Purchased the Tag Modular the day it was released, I have had to ditch my iPhone 7 for a Samsung S7 Edge to get the full benefits of the watch, I have had Tags all my life but never a Smartwatch, one question how do you download the ambassador watch faces, like CR7 etc - Thanks in advance

 

I believe you can get them via the tag connected app.

It says in the faq's on he connected website they are still available. Never mind.

 

When updating the application tag heuer connectd the ambassadors and exclusive faces disappear, if they want to have them, go back to a previous version of the application tag and leave the face set while they return to update the application

Battery update. Another day after another calibration.

Wifi on
Always on face on
Location on
Usage light, no messing, just checking notifications.

Battery now on 20 hours. So in a few nights it's gone from 14 to 20 hours. The calibration must be a thing and suggest everyone does it for the first week.

 

Mine has improved and will do 15 hours today. Will charge overnight and hopefully see another improvement tomorrow.

 

do you have an apk for the previous version, I can't find one on the net?

 

I'm in the camp of improved battery life as well -- off charger at 8:30am this morning ... 33% at 6:20pm ... predicted battery past 10pm.

for the past 3 days I'm finding that my watch now only charges to 98% and goes no higher.. Anyone else finding this?

 

Yes, I have this, but if I take it off the charger and put back on, it charges to 100%

 

Just some feedback regarding my watch battery issue. I had a phone call from Tag yesterday and they made some changes within the developers settings and have asked me to monitor battery life over next day or so. As you may have read I've been getting 10% drop every hour with the lightest of usage.

The battery level has only dropped 10% in 3 hours this morning which, although early days, is a massive improvement over previous days. So if it continues at this rate, the promised 25 hours is achievable. There is hope yet...

 

They only got me to switch Adb debugging on, I'm not entirely sure, but think this allows them to remotely access and make tweaks to software/settings on my watch? Whatever they've done it seems to be working (touch wood). Intel are going to call me in next day or two to get my feedback on changes in battery life.

I'll keep everyone updated.
