Hi, can anybody help me with doing this? Is it possible just with an iPhone/Mac as I don't have any android devices! Many thanks in advance
You need the watchmaker premium app on both watch and iPhone. You also need Dropbox on iPhone.

Watchfaces are available on the watchmaker community forum.

Clink the Dropbox link on the forum and save as a file in Dropbox.

When saved you can share link and then copy link.

When you copy the link you paste it into the URL box in watchmaker app on your phone.

When that is done you link your watch app and iPhone app and send the face.

Two minutes later it's on your watch.

That's brilliant thank you so much for the quick response!

If you're experimenting with switching on ADB debugging, there are some settings that you can change to speed up the operation of your watch UI

Go to 'settings', scroll down and choose 'developer options' and scroll down from there until you see the settings in the image below...

If you set the window, transition and animator duration scales from the stock 1x to 0.5x or even zero, you will speed up the way your UI flows:

Window animation scale sets how fast the UI animates when you press an interface element inside a window.

Transition animation scale sets how fast the UI animates when you are moving between windows (for example, pressing the crown to get to apps or assistant)

Animator duration scale will set the animations of transitions for things like page wipes spinning wheels, etc.

I've set all of these down to 0.5x, a nice speedup of the flow of the watch, setting to zero looks a little harsh to me.

...But you can experiment to see what this does, and what you like-- you cannot harm anything on your watch (but note if you set animation scale to a high value, like 10x, it will take a very long time to switch screens, etc, and get back to a more reasonable setting-- this is mainly for developers to test how a complex animation looks in 'slow motion' ... 1x or below recommended)

Don't you need to switch to developer mode first. Tapping the model or something 7 times. Then I don't think you can switch back.

Yes, correct -- go to settings, system, 'about' and scroll down to the build number, tap it until it tells you you're now a developer. Then you can access these menus.

No ill effects by leaving yourself in developer mode, I've done this with all my watches, and everything is fine -- a hard reset (which occasionally is necessary in Android wear, nothing to do with TAG) turns you into a 'normal' user again.

Hy, thank you for the great info about the developer mode - watch feels much more responsive now!

I have another question: when using google maps on the watch I am not able to start a navigation - it always comes the message "Navigation nicht verfügbar" (Navigation not available). Has anybody else the same problem?

Cool!

By the way, that same feature set is available on an android phone, I set everything to 'zero' there, and it can speed up an older phone as well.

Check out permissions in settings -- go to apps, and scroll down and select 'maps' and then select 'permissions'. Make sure you've got 'location access' (although you should be asked for this first time you use maps).

You might just try to simply uninstall and reinstall from the watch app store.

Maps has the permission for location access, I also reinstalled the app, but the problem still exists.
I use an iPhone, could it have something to do with it?

I'm actually on Android -- so I'm not 100% sure. Make sure you've gopt the latest iOS Android wear, but with the new standalone apps in AW 2.0, one would think it should work without the phone.

I am still on the 2nd round of the calibration phase. I've tried to let watch be "idle" to determine how much runtime I can get out if it (basically using the default settings). This is how it looks:

I've been a watch enthusiast for ove 10 years and my passion was always with Breitling. I just sold my Navitimer World so I can get this watch now I know there is going to be some glitches but I never expected this. The bying experience is terrible they make a watch to interchange stuff but you can only buy the models as is can't change anything on them. Makes no sense. Then to order it now I have to wait 3 weeks or buy the one that I don't want, just pay more money and get the rest later. Now they claim it's Swiss made and they all about precision after watching the video and all the tests they put it thru after getting the watch it needs to be pampered. Like they couldn't cure the battery before shipping to retailers. So far I'm getting good thoughts about it. I did already ordered mine but it looks like I will be swapping it for the automatic movement as soon as I can. Can't stand going on a 3 day hike without a watch

Ah well, took the plunge yesterday and have just set the watch up. Seems to be quite popular as there were another 2 people in the shop at the same time also both looking to buy one. So, it's been on the desk with screen set to wake when tilted (is this as idle as it can possibly be?) and after 40 mins its down to 91%...gulp...hopefully as previous posters, this'll improve...as I said, this is my first venture into smartwatches so don't really know what to fully expect. I guess if I can get to the watch lasting a waking day, I'll be happy with that

I'm waiting to pick mine up. Current Apple Watch lasts a waking day and I charge it every night, I'm more than happy if the Tag can do the same

Mine lasts 6am-10pm with sensible usage and screen always on. I did notice last night that charging time was 1hr 5mins from 3% battery, I thought a full charge was 1hr 50 so trying to run flat again today to try tonight! Love the watch though, just waiting for ios app

Ah cool. Not really done much with it yet...I've just left it on the desk idling and will charge it up once it's run fully down. I'll probably wear it tomorrow with the screen on to see how battery life compares between the 2 days.

Hi everyone,

Perhaps I can shed some light. I purchased a connected 45 the day they were released last week. The moment I fired it up and paired it, It requested to run a update. Soon after, the battery began to drain at the rate of 8% per hour with screen off in airplane mode and would not pass the 98% mark while on the charger. I contacted Tag support, and provided them with a bug report. Later that day, I received a call from the gentlemen that heads up the entire connected development at Intel. He was extremely apologetic and was completely upfront about the issue. He stated that they pulled back the update later on Tuesday last week as they realized that one of the lines in the code was causing a portion of the CPU to continue running. As of Monday this week, they had prepared a new build and were testing it and was told that it is set to be pushed to all connected watches today (Friday). He did however provide me with a temporary workaround. He asked me to put the watch into developer mode and had me swtich on ADB debug. I am now seeing only 2.5% draw per hour which is fantastic and the battery charges to 100%. He said the new patch will rectify all issues. Rest easy everyone, there is no issue with the hardware or battery. It's a software related issue. Fingers crossed the update will indeed be pushed to us today.

Nice. What's the firmware version that you're currently on?
