I had a similar issue. Went to a store in Northampton to buy an orange strap, was told would take 5 days to order from Tag. 3 weeks later still no strap! Cancelled my order, went to Goldsmith's in Coventry. They had the strap in stock.

Yes, normally I also would have cancelled my order long time ago, but since there was a discount of 40% while exchange/upgrade programm I'm still waiting...

With the latest update, the watch is almost always showing the not-connected icon (a crossed-out cloud), despite the Bluetooth on my Pixel 2 XL being on. Very annoying. No problems connecting to my home wifi, though.

Anyone know where one can buy JUST the Tourbillon module? I know most (if not all) sell as a very expensive kit with the connected, 2 bands and the Tourbillon but have heard some able to just buy the module. Anyone?

The CM45 calibre 5 mechanical movement module is available on the Tag Heuer site. I've not seen the new Heuer 02T there yet though. I'd like one of these in a CM41 size myself! Hopefully its only a matter of time...

I suggest contacting TAG Heuer Customer Service to inquire about this.

ya, I was going to but I heard some guys found at jewelry stores and made a deal for just the Tourbillon module vs the whole kit. Anyone hear if they are doing and 02 version that is somewhere between Tourbillon and Calibre 5?

I think, also as someone confirmed, that TH’s current idea is to only use the Heuer02 (a top of the line in-house movement) to the Autavia and Carrera not to make it seem like less impressive movement.

Hi people, like your comments. One thing i would like to know. Now that you know all about your TH connected after times wearing it would you buy it anyway? Even with the batt issues and uptade problems? I am thinking to get one for me, really love the THCM45 blue rubber strap. Thanks all...

Sorry, what does that mean? That TH will NOT offer up a Heuer 02T in a "connected" mechanical version? So we are stuck with $25k Tourbillon or $2k calibre?

The 02T is the tourbillion, the regular 02 is only available in the Autavia and Carrera currently, some people have speculated that it will not be available as a module (certainly nothing has been announced).

However the Calibre 16 module sits between the 5 and the tourbillion.

Well crap, I did not see that news!!!! That is exactly what I meant.....sorry, I confused the names but the Calibre 16 is perfect. Anyone know a US seller that will ship to Canada?

Now I'm getting confused lol.... My understanding is that there are two mechanical module options for the CM45 currently:
  • Carrera with Calibre 5 movement (available separately on the Tag website)
  • Heuer02T with a tourbillon powered Heuer02 movement, currently only available in the mechanical module luxury kit

The original question was whether the Heuer02T would be available separately. Now that we have apparently branched into speculation over another mechanical module that might sit between the two, my $.02 opinion would be simply to offer something for the CM41 please....

....aaaand something I uncovered that may relate to the "battery drain" posts. I installed the 8M watchmaker update yesterday and it took 3 hours and half of the battery 😲. I have automatic updates turned off so I can choose when to upgrade software components, but that certainly isn't the default setting on the watch's google play app. So, this update is no doubt being automatically pushed out to most of us. What I'm not sure of is whether play store automatic updates can only occur when the watch is on the charger or if they can occur any time the watch can connect to WiFi. If the latter is the case, then the result most certainly would appear to be unexpected rapid battery drain.

I guess I started asking 1) does anyone sell JUST the Heuer 02T Tourbillon module (vs the entire kit). Answer is ask Tag and I have. 2) Then I went on to does Tag offer any other module besides the Calibre 5? Answer is YES!! Apparently a new Calibre 16 is available.

However, this was all for Connected 45, not 41...sorry. So as of now, they have a full Tourbillon Kit ($25k), Calibre 5 module ($2k) and a new Calibre 16 ($3k) all for the Connected 45.

News to me as well. I've not seen nor heard anything of a Calibre 16 module for the CM45.

Here you go, there's a couple of members on here who have them, iirc one bought it in Prague and the other in Vegas. Don't remember seeing any mechanical 41s in here yet, think they ship in June?

Saw that pic in the other forum but seeing it again.....frig, I so want one now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those with mechanical modules.....maybe you can help me decide. When do you choose to wear this or the Connected one? I assume MOST bought the CM45/41 for the smartwatch experience while retaining what I believe (and most do) to be the best looking smartwatch out there. I absolutely hate the look of other smartwatches but so love their functionality (ie Apple Watch.....it does everything I want like fitness, time, notifications) but looks horrific vs the Tag Connected. Anyway, just rambling but really battling when and why I would use the mechanical vs connected module.
