More anecdotal evidence that the moonSwatch may not be made that well. (I was just admiring the Mercury but spotted the comments.)
My feeling is Elizabeth Grant (or "Karen" to @Yago) is just calling it as she sees it.

Hope do you break the stem on Swatch??

I genuinely think some of these people who constantly have issues with things, (you'll notice it's always the same people who have issues), are not exactly the most delicate with their hands, or temperate with their actions......

I guess he's referring to the stem that the hands attach to. The point being, hands and stems shouldn't just fall off; these kinds of things aren't user inflicted. This person said he has 47 watches and only had problems with his 2 moonSwatches.

Hmmm not to add lime to the wound but i used to owned 5 Swatch Sistem51 Irony(please, dont ask. It was a dark times). Now only 2 remains fully function. The rest was unrepairable. I was told before the Irony version was repairable. Nope it was not. And if you do want to repair it, the Swatch service center will pop it open (chance of damaging the caseback is very high), put it new sistem51 movement, and charged you almost the same price as buying new one.

So yeah, i am just traumatized by Swatch nowadays. Would i want a Moonswatch ? It's a nice looking watch. I like the design. But in the end I chosen not to buy it.

Just bought one of these to replace some really cheap wall clock that I bought at Kmart about 11 years ago:

The Peter's of Kensington store on Ebay. Decent price reduction from RRP and I had a $20 Ebay Plus voucher. If they are out of stock, Hacko still has some although I'm not sure which colours. He was asking $299 for his stock.

I'm not normally into green, but I think Omega nailed it! I prefer the looks of this new Seamaster over the green Sub (aka Hulk).

I like it because it’s doing it’s own thing and also for how nice the green looks on this Seamaster. They have made quite a few great watches with this new design. The two tone black and gold is

I didn't realise they weren't being sold as a set, makes more sense cos who the hell would have bought all of them? Still infuriating and ridiculous. Good that this pointless collection is being 'split up' but I do wonder if the people who buy them will just put them in their safe as investements?

Prefer the black and gold to the green if I'm honest

    I’d take either, or both.

I got a call 2 months ago from one of the boutiques to try both bracelet and strap versions.

Nice but very muted. Even under OB lighting it looked pretty black most of the time. In this instance I’d be the opposite to you and take a green Rolex over it as I like a green watch to be green most of the time - one of the reasons I let the Monaco go.

Yes, we're the opposite. I like a muted green and like the green Monaco for exactly the reason you don't. Lol.

I just picked up the Seiko “Arnie”. Absolutely loving it so far…something a bit different from my usual choice of watch!

I will admit that I initially didn’t understand the appeal of the multitude of Seiko divers out there, but on wrist there is a definite charm to them.

for some reason I’m drawn to the all white ceramic, it’s now got me looking for alternatives
