The owner of the this very special "Heuer" 2016 Porsche Carrera 911R, apparently had this exclusive Carrera watch made by TAG Heuer to match his car.

You can see his special Porsche 911R on his IG site: https://www.instagram.com/porsche_private_collection/

Also, the car isn't owned by JC Biver, as was thought in this thread: https://forums.calibre11.com/threads/what-to-expect-this-upcoming-basel-2017.53972/#post-657489
If you read through the porsche_private_collection IG site, TAG Heuer played a role in creating this special Porsche "Paint to Sample" 1 of 1 car but it's owned by another private Porsche collector not Biver.

Good find @Mspeedster

While the watch is polarising, the owner's enthusiasm is commended.

I certainly like the car better than the watch. But if I were a TAG Heuer Connected owner and this face existed, I'd happily wear it on my wrist. 😀

Doesn’t do anything for me, the Porsche is nice but the rear quarters look strange, maybe the colour or angle of the shots?

I know I'm a bit OCD, but I couldn't have red down one side of the car and blue the other.

I am sure our dedicated Connected watchmakers can take up this challenge!

I found this a bit odd as well.

I rather object to the Heuer badge on the Heuer 01 Carrera.... that's not on. At least the rotor is correctly labelled!

Without checking, I imagine this is a homage to the GT3 RSR that had red and blue wheel nuts on each side.

I'm assuming it's Patrick Dempsey's car.

Correction......not his car.

Yes, @connected1976 already made it! 😉 👍

I tried the same combo of the original watch, but it also looks well on the red rubber strap

Great find- I’ve never seen or heard of this one before. The Heuer logo doesn’t quite look right...too big and not really the right shape. Yes, I would have assumed it was a fake too. Keeping track of these Biver-era one-offs will be very challenging as more pop out of the woodwork
