Hi Guys I have this cica 1976 watch that i own (since 1976) and I am thinking of selling it. I think it might be something like an F6 150.573 F ??? can anyone provide an accurate model etc and maybe some idea of what it might be worth. The strap is not the original and I have long since lost the box. Thanks Ian
Looks like you got the model right: 150.573 F. Here's another one http://forums.calibre11.com/threads/question-about-carrera-cal15-ref-150-573f.33786/ Is that rust or dirt on the bezel? And does it run? Is there any service history? Lots of things that can affect the value. There's a similar (albeit different model) one for sale here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/heuer-carrera-automatic-chronograph-ref-110-573-cal-12.46036/ Yours will be worth less than that given the condition, so I'd take a relatively uneducated guess somewhere (probably towards the lower end) in the range of US$1000-2000.
I think it might be rust - was last serviced maybe 25 years ago - does not appear to currently run. Ian
@imagwai has sorted you out- it's a Carrera 150.573F. Here is the Blue Calibre 12 model from the 1974 Catalog- yours is a Calibre 15 The top of the case should have a star-burst pattern like this- yours has worn down over time. I'd agree that in current condition is around the $1000 mark...will need a good service and then some work on the case to bring it back to life!
Hi Guys - r u sure? on mine the second sweep hand dial is at 10 o'clock with no digits and on the pictures shown it is at 9 o'clock and has digits Also no starburst pattern on the case? Thanks Ian
Sorry Ian- I should have been clearer. This Carrera came with two movements: - Calibre 12: registers at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock (150.573F) - Calibre 15: registers at 3 o'clock and 10 o'clock (110.573F) The only photo I had to hand was the Calibre 12 version- so not the same as yours...but both are correct Heuers. Yes, both models originally had that pattern...but it gets worn down over time, or polished away Can still see the faint pattern on yours.
