Newbie after advice with Carrera CS3110

hello,

I recently inherited my brother's Carrera CS3110. I have seen some pictures on this forum and on the web of the watch fitted with a Heuer deployment clasp.

I am based in the UK, and was wondering if it is still possible to source a clasp and a strap that would fit it?

many thanks for any help/advice.

Hi there,

Great watch. I have the same one on a deployant. This has been covered a few times. Part numbers you need are in this thread: https://forums.calibre11.com/threads/reissue-carreras-on-deployant-clasp-strap.74708/

You should be able to convince a Tag Heuer AD or boutique to sell the clasp and strap to you, although some take a bit of convincing as they're not the official parts for this watch. Failing that, these parts do crop up on eBay and other places occasionally. You can also get an equivalent strap from Watchstrapworld if you can't find an original.

Nice watch. I look for one of those for quite a while before I decided to go for the new 160th silver.

I bought a couple of straps from Watch Strap World. UK based and have a big selection of Heuer style straps to work with deployant clasps and also sell Heuer style clasps. They seem to have good reference info so you’ll find something that works there.

The deployant clasps Watch Strap World sell are not good enough in my opinion. The straps are solid, though.

I bought a clasp to use with a black 19mm rally on my speedmaster FOIS. Seems ok. Don’t feel like it’s going to fall apart anyway.

They're OK, but just a mismatch, quality-wise for the Carrera imo. The one I had worked fine, and wasn't going to fall apart, but it didn't exactly scream luxury.

If you change 'forums.calibre11' for 'tagheuerforums', these old links are still working 👍🏼
