I'm guessing not quite as many as queued up for the Moonswatch though 😀

Clearly not. But as per the above comments, we know an awful lot of people queueing for the Moonswatch were also flippers.

The moonSwatch is around $260. If TAG priced this new Mario Kart watch in a similar price range, I'd line up for one! 👍

£3865... wow, that seems a lot even if it's a Calibre 16. Then again, how much did people pay for that Fragment F1?

I really don't get this. I know a lot of millenials look back fondly on Mario Kart, and I've played a few rounds with mates for nostalgia, but is anyone seriously going to spend thousands on a Mario kart watch, and is anyone under 30 even vaguely interested?
Sometimes, it looks like companies are just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks.

I don't honestly think it's £6000 special. And I'm sure the Mario watch will be very 'special' to those who want it. I'm sure there will even be people who cherish their puke-gold-yellow dial F1 chrono... thank goodness we have the likes of Hodinkee to remind us who is actually 'right'.

A modern version of the original Formula One - plastic and all - themed around various Mario Kart characters would be awesome. Price it like the MoonSwatch and I’d buy them all!

I’d take a Yoshi one…

I've played Mario Kart a ton of times with my son when he was growing up. He'd always whoop my a$$, but it was loads of fun. I'd consider buying one if there's a quartz version priced under $2k.

The fact that the watch at the back has the TH shield at the 3 suggests a Calibre 16... is the other one a Calibre 6 with a small seconds?

Apparently not, what else could it be? 😲

It's so silly that I won't even spoil it!

It’s beyond ridiculous what they’re going to release.

At +£21k I think Arnault is just getting these watches made for himself at this point!
